The quality of the costume is immediately obvious when you try this on. As soon as I put it on, I could tell it was made of good fabric and well put together. (I sew quite a bit and know good materials) I am very short and have a very short torso, so the length was a little longer than I had hoped for, but I was able to alter it easily enough to solve that issue. The sizing is very accurate, which is unusual for costumes which generally run small. This is not the case here. If you wear an 8 like I do, buy the small, not the medium. I had to take up 4 inches in the bodice to make the medium fit properly. My only complaint about it would be the boot covers. These are not constructed well for covering any shoe as there is only one elastic strap that is meant to go under the shoe at the arch of the foot. The strap is long enough to go over a mens workboot and still have room, so it is impossible to make it stay in place. I also remedied this problem by making a faux bottom for the boot cover and basically creating a slip on boot that fits right over my shoes. It worked out perfectly!! I will wear it for years to come.
