We bought this as a Halloween costume for our 5 year-old. While it was a little long for him as we couldn't get this in XS, he managed to get along ok despite the extra length. One of the chains did break off, however considering he'd worn it at school for most of the day and then had a long night of trick or treating, I was surprised that was the only damage sustained.
The mask seemed a little large in the fit around his face, but as I say it was overall just a little too big for him and he does have a narrow head, so probably it would have been perfect for him next year. It didn't really affect how he looked in the costume once the head piece was attached.
He wore this over another black robe he had and it looked really good. He just wore some black heavy winter boots to complete the look.
Everyone liked the grommets/chains/skeleton design of the robe including our son so all in all we were pretty happy with it.
