I got this for my 3 year old to wear to his playgroup costume party and for trick-or-treating. He looked adorable! Everyone commented about how cute his costume was, and it held up well and he was able to wear it to both events. We paired it with a plaid button down shirt, and it looked great. The only negative would be the hat...it looks more like Indiana Jones than a cowboy. We bought a seperate cowboy hat, so we didn't use the hat that came with the costume.

The costume was a hit everywhere we went! He had such a classic cowboy look and everyone remarked how authentic the costume was. The vest and chaps were better quality than many we had seen! Unfortunately the hat did not fit well, was too small and did not look very authentic, made out of plastic. So we ended up getting a Sheriff's hat at Gymboree that did fit better. While we love the costume, the chaps had a hard time staying up and we had to put the ties thru his pants belt loops to secure, and then had to tie the front of the chaps together with a string to keep the front up. There are already two holes there, but nothing in the packaging to keep them together. I also had to hem the chaps a good 2 inches to keep him from tripping. The design could have been better to ensure the chaps stayed up. Overall I'm glad I made the purchase as he just looked so cute in it, and most importantly he LIKED wearing it!

Bought this for my 2 year old to wear for a Halloween party and Trick or Treating. Have already used it for the Party and it was great! The hat was not very useful, so we did get a different hat but other than that it was perfect.
