I bought this hoping it was exactly what it said it was a velvet hat, and it WAS! I have been looking all over for a velvet one with no luck. I had bought one two years ago that claimed to be velvet from another site when I finally got it (a month and a half later) it wasn't even velvet. So I was leary of buying it from Spirit. But then it arrived only a week after ordering it and is was Velvet. I couldn't have been happier.
