Comments about Spirit Halloween Animated Climbing Spider - Decorations:

They are loud but you can turn off sound and just have them move up and down. They do not move very far but they're subtle which I like. You have to separate the legs a bit and they're a little "loosey-goosey". But still, I love them and they will be perfect in my haunted Circus.

Comments about Spirit Halloween Animated Climbing Spider - Decorations:

I have a dropping spider prop with a really noisy motor, but this climbing spider has moving legs and a quieter motor. Once I saw the demo video, I knew I had to get it.

The nylon line on the first climbing spider I bought in store was broken when I took it out of the box. Then when I tried to open up the back of the spider to see if I could "fix" it I saw that the screws were stripped, so I'm assuming that someone attempted to fix the spider and put the nylon line back inside.

My advice is always buy your props in store and ask if you can test them in store, that way if they malfunction you can just get a new one right away.

I was able to get a replacement which works great, but don't use the try me button because I think that's what caused the line to tangle inside and break. Extend the line completely when in use.

The only thing I'm concerned about is the thinness of the line and how long it will last. I wish they would have made that line a little thicker.
