My son is 20 months, and 2T fit perfectly (and he isn't a big kid, so size runs small).
Have not tried to wash it yet, will probably hand wash if needed.
Its worth the extra $, because it is as furry as you'd hope a Brobee costume should be if your kid LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba. Our son LOVES this costume, and we've had to hide it so it can be worn on Halloween. Will probably save for dress up.
We got the candy bag to match. Probably the only candy bag that a kid won't let anyone put candy in, on account of him screaming, "Miiiiine"
