My only complaint - and I've seen it from other reviewers - is that the motion/sound sensor is not nearly sensitive enough. The first two years I used it, we either clapped or yelled to activate. Quite by accident, I put the fog machine close to him and, when the fog dispensed, he turned on! On Halloween night I just hit the button on the fog machine when folks come to the door. Definitely a great scare!

We had him set up in the house for a few hours to see how he would do, he was very cool, great idea, loved the opening of the dress to show the eyes. Def would scare a few! Our only complaint was you actually had to stand in front of him and clap to get him to start. We moved the sensor all around from top to bottom and still wouldn't sense people walking by or even a scream. But did work every time with a clap. I would recommend this only if you get it on sale for the work you have to do to make it work.

THIS REAPER IS TRUELY LIFESIZE.. OVER 6 FEET AND BUILT VERY GOOD. CLOTHES ARE VERY GOOD QUALITY AND WORTH THE MONEY. LONG CORD AND AWESOME MOVEMENTS AND LIGHTS... COULDNT SAY ANY BETTER

I loved the quality of materials used, very robust, solid design. I did have a problem with the animated mouth peice. It didn't fuction as advertised, in fact, it barely moved at all. By the time we got it, it was too late to reurn it and have it replaced in time for halloween. So, we'll just suck it up for now, and after halloween, I'll do some brain surgury and fix it myself. We do like it a lot, we believe that the problem with the mouth is just a fluke.

I've used this in my Halloween display for the past couple of years. The kids and parents alike enjoy the animatronic. My only complaint is that although it is audio activated, the sensor isn't overly sensitive. In order to activate the prop you have to stand in front of it and yell or clap your hands loudly. I would much prefer if normal conversation while walking by would activate it.

Wow, I thought this looked great in the video. It looks even BETTER in person. In the video it looks like the eyes under his robe are simply shining through a piece of thin fabric but in reality there are actual screaming faces under there!

This was the BEST birthday present EVER! I named him Roger and we can't wait till Halloween.

This is a very well built and a unique item. He's very tall and intimadting looking. By far my favorite prop I own!

I build a self standing Haunted House on Halloween and this prop fits the need well. It blends in well into the shadows and its size has been mistaken for an actual person. It has become quite the conversation piece amongst friends and neighbors. I found that the location of the motion sensor was a poor designing flaw. Its blocked by the fabrics easily. However; I remedied that by using the footpad . If you cover the pad well it will work much better than the sensor alone. Yeah its a bit pricy, but I feel that if it scared at least one child and an adult( yes...its caught some parents unaware) then it was worth it. I loved the reactions.....too cool for words. It has become one of my main props...love it!!!
