With these boots, don't expect them to stay laced up, after upzipping them to take them off. While zipped up, the lacing is great, but then when you take them off via the zipper, they will unlace very tangled so it's best just to unlace & then relace again the next time you put them on.

Overall, I would say that they are the most comfortable, well fitting shoes I have EVER ordered off of the internet. If you are in between sizes (ex: 7.5) make sure to order next size up, like I did, and just wear a couple of pairs of socks. The socks will be needed as they do not have any cushioning in them.

Overall, VERY satisfied with the purchase & the purchase price.

I'm not gonna lie, I got these boots, tried them on only to find that my calves were too big for the boot. EVEN WITH THE LACE UP FRONT! The tongue for the boot is too narrow to lace up without showing skin so I decided to return them. Before I did, I got an idea of how to personalize them from some other boots I'd seen. I just went out and got 5/8" satin ribbon and laced them up with that! It worked out so great! They look so sexy with the deep purple ribbon I added! They totally make my costume! GREAT BUY! And you can change up the ribbons with whatever color you need to make your outfit work!!!! LOVE THEM!

I loved the boots, they made the costume!! I want them in all the colors just for the fun of it. I did find that they ran a little big but they were workable.
