I live very close to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery so this prop will fit in very nicely indeed. I would have given this prop five stars except for the exceedingly dim light on the pumpkin head and the fact that the prop only had boots...no legs and although the outfit covers this detail, when the wind comes up and blows the costume all over you will most likely be able to see that the prop has poles instead of a leg or even pants. For some reason this really bothered me perhaps more then it should have and affected my overall liking of this prop. I would however buy him again.

I really liked the Headless Horseman because he is unique. He adds a different feel to a Halloween scene and I don't think I've ever seen other Horseman decorations before. He recieved a very excited reaction from the trick or treaters and the parents as well. I placed LED lights in the pumpkin to bring out the detail better. Hit him with a green light and surround him with fake trees and you have a prop that will have alot of people talking about your display. A must have.

I've always loved the Headless Horseman, but don't like the overly gory depictions (like when he's holding his head). This is a well made, tall, imposing re-creation and looks stunning in my foyer. He was very easy to assemble - took 5 minutes tops. I'm storing him assembled, doesn't take up too much room, easily tucked into my storage room corner. I really like this and would definitely recommend it!

overall this is an excellent prop. He is huge and has a good scare factor. Seems to be made well. I just wish the fingers could grip the ax instead of just "hanging" from his open hand. I have no problem with mine holding the pumpkin head, just have to adjust right. As far as lighting i think a good blue,maybe red light shining on him with help with wow factor. Its grrrrreat.

I'm very excited to add it to my display for Halloween. The quality of the hands and boots as well as the axe being made of foam make it all seem that much more realistic and cool. The only negatives would be:

1. I wish the arms were a bit stronger. The do allow posing, but are so flexible that they can barely support the pumpkin and the axe that comes for the other hand and maintain the desired positions.
2. Its a dark piece. Other than putting lights behind it to outline it, it will be hard and almost impossible to see at all in a dimly lit display (who brightly lights displays?). The pumpkin has one light on the bottom, but its very dim and is not remotely enough to light even some of the body and barely does the pumpkin at all.

That said, I still am extremely pleased with it and recommend it as I'll just add backlighting on my own and put better lights in the pumpkin by modifying it.

This is amazing ! I am a headless horsemen fan.I also got the upside down head that is hung by a chain that I wrapped in one hand and the pumpkin in the other.The ax is in a basket along with 3 skulls.On the ground around him are a bunch of fall leaves and he stands behind the movie poster Sleepy Hallow.People freak out when they come over because he is hiding in my living room corner and because he is so huge.

This guy is cool and pretty well-made. He's also HUGE so he is an imposing presence that will be AWESOME surrounded by fog at my front door. I'm 6'3 and he is almost as tall as me...even WITHOUT a head!! So many of these figures and animatronics are super cheaply made and will probably break within 2 years, but this one should definitely last for several Halloween seasons. Worth the money for sure... The only negative is the light inside of the pumpkin seems pretty cheap and kind of weak, so I will probably just buy a cheap flickering candle that you can buy for regular pumpkins to "up the effect" just a bit.

This is a tall prop and made pretty well. It's unique and I think will get a lot of great comments from guests at Halloween time. The only thing I would change is how the axe attaches to the hand. I wanted mine to have the blade facing upwards, but it's a bit too heavy to do that so it has to be kept facing downward like shown in the picture. Not a bad thing, just my personal preference. Other than that, this is a great prop.

This is such a great prop! He's made really well and even his clothes are durable! I love the pumpkin. I'd even buy the pumpkin head by itself, it's made that good! He's really tall as well and the ax is heavy and made of all Latex. Must have for those Sleepy Hollow fans!!
