Make sure he is staked down, turned ours on the first time and he fell over and broke. Spirit is replacing him for free just hoping we get him in time.

Of all the props I bought this year this one made the best impression. Most of the kids either loved it or were scared by it. Not good for the yard because you must place it on level ground. Definitely use the foot pad with it and use a rug to hide the pad.

He's awesome for the price. Have him in my graveyard, he's looks great in the dark with a black light. Only problem, he can fall over in the wind....

This is a cool animatronic. Love the crow cawing sound between the phrases. Scary looking, much better than the picture and the video show. One step the instructions leave out is to put the metal "arms" through the sleeves. If you don't figure that out yourself, which I didn't until it was done, then you have to disassemble the tombstone from the arms and put it back together, which is a pain. It was a little confusing figuring out where the clothing goes also (too-close-up pictures in the instructions were almost useless), and the velcro and pockets on the back that go over the feet are kind of hard to find. It doesn't seem very durable, and the tombstone is styrofoam, but I guess it has to be for the AA-battery- powered motor to lift it. Would be better if the mouth moved, but at this price I don't think you can expect that. Fairly priced, especially with the 20% coupon. A big disappointment was that the foot switch accessory would not make a connection into the jack, so I ended up returning the switch for a refund and could not use it. Otherwise I would have had to disassemble the whole tombstone lifter and return it. The foot switch worked fine on other items in the store, so that was not the problem. On the whole, this is pretty consistent with the quality of the other less-expensive, made in China animatronics.

He'll be the main attention grabber in our homemade Halloween Cemetery. He shouldn't be left 0ut in the rain, so we are saving him for Halloween day when my 5 yr old is having a Halloween party for his classmates. He sits in the house where he is an attention grabber and quite the conversation piece. We enjoy him.

It was the centerpiece of my little Halloween graveyard scene; along with three other tombstones that I had purchased from the Spirit outlet store. I used mini blue LED spotlights that I fabricated from a fellow-haunter's design idea [@] I used a small low-lying fog machine hidden in the bushes and the entire small scene was very cool. The tombstone lifter is the centerpiece, though. He's a wicked looking little ground-breaking ghoul. They didn't have him in the outlet store, so I went online to order,[...]His skin tone isn't so pale-white as the photo shows, and I may do a custom paint job to make him as the photo shows so his features glow moreso with a mini UV LED spot light on him, next year. I did use a paver stone from Lowe's to have him sit on to keep him steady in my landscape. Glad I got this prop!

Within the graveyard scene facing the Halloweeners as they look on. The volume of the noise and its movement are very good. The fact that the mouth does not move when its speaking. This would improve this product even further.

I really liked this product. It looks great in my Graveyard scene. The only concern is how the tombstone is constructed. It is made of Styrofoam and could easily break. It comes in two peices and you need to put them together with 5 inch spikes.

I saw this in store yesterday and it is awesome! The detail online really doesn't do it justice. Online the face looks distorted because of the led eyes - it really doesn't look like that. This would be an amazing addition to any graveyard. When the tombstone is down you can't even tell anything is behind it, then we he lifts up the tombstone it's quick so it's scary. I will totally buy this if I can get a good deal on it! Pricing is slightly high in my opinion, but only by $15-$20. You could probably save that by using a coupon.
