The petticoat wire went in perfect and you can bend it if needed. I didn't have to works great. I tried on costume it is very long which I anticipated on that. Will be altering. Now the bad thing is whoever made it made the overall costume for plus size but not the arms. The arms are for a "regular" fit. So I could not zip it up since my arms didn't go thru all the way. There is enough material to undo the stitching to fix. Going to go great with my family themed Alice in Wonderland when we go to Disneyland

This costume is really beautiful. I am a plus size lady so I ordered this costume. There are a few issues.. The hoop would not work as it is rolled small to fit in the bag. We put it in hot water to stretch it out, didnt work. We put furniture on it and stretched it out for 3 days, didnt work. To make it more authentic it needs the red hair wig. The second issue is that this costume is not a plus size and had to be altered. I bought a real holla hoop and the costume is stunning!
