We went as a couple to a Halloween party (my wife had the matching devil costume). The costume is very nice looking, but on closer inspection it was full of hanging and loose threads. Without even having worn it, the cape buckle and the black jewel came off. We were late to the party because my costume fell apart and I was stuck sowing it back together. It was also very tedious to iron the cape and my wife`s matching dress. Because of this, we felt like the costumes were way overpriced for the quality. Overall though, it was a crowd pleaser and we got a lot of compliments. It would be a great buy if only it was less expensive.

Three buttons fell off almost immediately and I couldn't get the ascot to look centered. For a costume that is described as theatrical quality I have to say it it would never make it into one of my stage productions. After I took the time to fix the costume that I paid for myself before the first time I got to wear it out It looked fine, but I was still never able to get the ascot to center well and it was pointed out to me several times at the party I was at. Looked good, but disappointed in the structural flaws.

I love the costume. The only thing is that the ascot and pendant is off to one side. Also, my waist is only 32 but my chest is 47" , my neck is 17 1/2 and I'm 5'7" so I have to get XL. My upper body doesn't conform to the standard size chart so it was a bit long. Other than that, I am satisfied with it! So my advise to those guys who has a sporty upper body type, follow the chest size not the waist size.

Great material, easy to get in and out of, but the sizes are too generic. There should be an elastic fit on the neck. I have an average sized body and an 18 inch neck. It barely buttons at the top, but it seems to be stretching so the ascot and pendant sits off to one side. In fact, they don't even seem to line up with the buttons down the front. Additionally, the lace of the ascot has some fray where it was sewn and looks sloppy. I really like the costume otherwise, so I think I'll try my luck getting it altered rather than returning it. Spirit had the best price on the net.
