I used this wig for a Medusa costume and tied a few rubber snakes onto the black strands with black hair-ties. Due to the way the wig is styled, my natural hairline above my ears was visible. I was able to remedy this with a few bobby pins, but a wig cap (not netted/fishnet) that matches your skin tone would work better...especially if you plan on dancing while wearing the wig. I have a somewhat small head and the wig fit me fairly well, but did loosen up a bit as the night wore on. I found the wig to be a little itchy when I first put it on, but that subsided after a short while. It will need to be styled a little when taken out of its packaging. I just combed it with my fingers to give it a fuller look like the one in the photo. The color is fun and you will receive plenty of compliments while wearing this--one person asked me how long I spent coloring my hair...she miiiight have been a lil tipsy, but hey, I felt good about the purchase after that comment.

This wig is great fun, well worth the price, great colors, am going to wear it with a serpent queen outfit and maybe randomly all year when I feel the need to be a little wild!
