THIS IS A COOL LOOKING REAPER. IT IS LARGE, AND IMPOSING. I HAD IT ON MY PORCH AND IT SCARED SOME OF THE YOUNGER KIDS THAT WERE COMING TO MY DOOR FOR CANDY. THE ONLY DOWNFALL IS IT HAS A NUMBER OF PARTS TO PUT TOGETHER. THE SICKLE IS FLIMSY BUT I'M SURE THE PLASTIC PIECES COULD BE REPLACED BY A WOOD STICK OR DOWEL. THIS IS PRETTY COOL LOOKING AND QUITE SCARY AND IMPOSING BECAUSE OF IT'S LARGE SIZE.
I had so many people talking about this. putting the fog machine inside takes it to the next level. Kinda hard to assemble and the sickle is a bit flimsy but all else is GREAT
The Reaper looks Great. It should scare a lot of kids that come trick or treating. lol.
This guy will be on display in my daughters house from now. Of course it will take center Stage for trick or treat night.

As a regular Spirit animatronic buyer, here is my take on the good and the bad on this one:
- Tall, easily over 6' which makes this one pretty darned intimidating!
- Solidly built, good quality frame, good electronic connectors
- Scary. Real scary.
- Surprisingly sensitive sensor which is great as too many fail to trigger.
- 3 settings and a volume control!
- Will require patience to assemble, I am very experienced with Spirit animatronics and still took me an hour+ as I wanted to be careful.
- Voice quality is poor not as good as on the video.
- Requires true caution in assembly as the gauze pieces are pretty thin, and I thought pieces were missing but they were just stuck to other pieces.
Overall I like the Reaper, but it was cheaply made, the reaper pole was junk. It wound up in the trash can. I used a broom stick to make it right. It does look very cool on the porch to greet visitors.
This is very cheaply made. First off, it is alot shorter than I thought, maybe 5ft9 or so. The thing he holds is probably a ft taller than that. The thing he holds bent and broke the day after he was put together. I'm not someone who likes to go to the trouble of returning things or I would. I don't even think he will last through this halloween season.
I wanted to use this product as a prop in my yearly haunt. I took it out of the box and assembled it. I plugged it in with a fog machine. First, the head moved very jaggedly, and later fell off after 3 uses. His light quickly fried out, and hid speaker was very quiet with the lines, but loud with a strange buzzing sound. This prop would do better standing alone, but not even that would be okay. This prop is not worth buying or even TOUCHING the box in a store.
There was no special occasions but my mom did buy this prop for me. so I don't know if it was a gift or not but all I know is this is one of the props in the top 3 of the hundreds of Halloween props a have bought from spirit Halloween! this is a must buy prop that you should not miss out on and buy here is some information about this prop: Some people prefer props with moving mouths however, this props mouth does not move but I would still highly recommend this prop to you even if you prefer moving mouth also this prop is 6ft tall and it continues to repeat all movements and sounds until you unplug it. What this prop does is when you plus it in the 6ft sickening reaper prop will light up its eyes, mouth and chest green, move its head side to side and speak phrases repeatedly. This prop looks better in the dark than when the lights are on in my opinion, I think it allows you to see the lights in its eyes, chest and mouth better than with the lights on. awesome prop, bigger than you think and I am %100 satasfied and this is %100 worth the money!
Picked this up today as an early birthday present from my parents and girlfriend. He is awesome.. He's 6' tall (plus the sickle). The big complaint is that he's repetitive, but if that were a concern for me, I'd drop the volume all the way down (or disconnect the speaker), put in a remote speaker from my computer, and mix my own messages. The profile view isn't great, on both, the rear of the head, and the back (below the hunch) I'm going to create a shell for the back of his head and mid-back with really lightweight foam sheeting (or cloth that's been stiffened by painting it) to shape it better without adding weight, neither of which is really "required" but I hope to keep this guy up all year long, and those are simple aesthetic changes to make which will improve the side views dramatically. For me, the only negative issue is the fact that he takes up a lot of floorspace, more than I realized when I saw him at the store. His arms aren't really adjustable, so the tip of his outstretched finger is about 42 inches away from the wall if you back him up against one. The sickle tends to rotate outwards, so that goes out even further.. with the lowest point of the blade at about 6' above the ground. His hands are approximately 28 inches apart. I'm going to have to modify the arms a little, to fit the space I planned for him. I don't care much for the lights/animation as a personal preference, but have considered making a very basic inner mouth out of stiff, dark cloth, which would block some of the face light, but mainly give the mouth a little 3d depth. When it's unlit, it looks great though, so I may not bother with it. All-in-all, you normally can't approach a stand-up animated figure of this size and quality without moving into a much higher price range. The stance is somewhat unique, and doesn't seem nearly as stiff and generic as most do.. a fan blowing at him gives just enough push to move him slightly, and make's all the gauzy bits (and long hair) move nicely. Most importantly, the character is set in a position that lends itself towards being still.. he's hunched forward, and appears to be using the sickle as a walking stick.
I work at Spirit Halloween, and I walk past this decor every day. He's so awesome, that I had to take him home. He stands an incredible 6'5". He has a awesome sickle. His chants and sayings are very spooky! He lights up in all different kinds of ways, which give him his unique scary look! Also, if you place a fog machine inside him and close his dress up, fog will come out of him. VERY COOL!
Picked this up at my local store. First time seeing it in the store so I didn't hesitate. Got him home and set it up. Was expecting plastic parts, but was very surprised to find most of this guys armature is metal. Great face detail, and huge sickle. The motion sensor is in the pointing finger, and it has great range. Was even more surprised to find it works perfectly in pitch black. At first my guys head did not move but after a few mins, it did. Not sure what that was, but it works like a charm now. Can't wait for him to welcome my Trick-Or-Treaters.
This is new for me this year. One of the many props I have to scare the kiddos on Halloween. Went from 2 or 3 trick or treaters to well over 200 since I started decorating.
i use the product for parties and its great and tall very good product

This is a fantastic prop if you have a small yard haunt. It works very well as a focal point and is sure to scare the dickens out of the little kids. But, as many older children and adults will point out, it is very repetitive. But the worst part is that the mouth doesn't move. It does have some excellent movement and the motion sensor works very well. I, for one, do not like having the eyes light up on props as I find that this detracts from their authenticity. But if you have a dimly-lit area, this could get quite a reaction.
