Easy to put together,hose didnt fit fog machine,had to duct tape to fogger then it got hot and tape didnt hold. Head kept getting stuck when it turned to the right. Had to keep going outside and jiggle head so it would move right.I put more white paint on face with sponge,looks even better.

The Fuming Rotter is a pretty interesting concept and I intended to place it under my portico to greet the tricker treaters. With the fog machine set to short intervals for both fog and between sessions, there is almost always a bit of mist coming out of its mouth. The problem is the motor appears under powered and insufficient to keep the head moving. The one I received stops pretty often. A small nudge gets it moving again but usually only for a few seconds. Even without moving, it looks good but if you pay for animatronic, it's nice to get it!

Disappointed in this prop. After putting it together it appeared that the head was too heavy for the motor to move it from side to side. The fog portion does work but you do not get the full effect without head movement.

The fog machine box said it would fit the Fuming Rotter, but there was NO WAY to connect the Fuming Rotter hose to the fogger. After I jury rigged that the host to fit the fogger with tape, after the hose attaches to the Rotter, the hose weight prevents the too-weak motor in the Rotter animation from working - the Rotter's head stops turning.

I had to reorder this zombie three times and they were all broken. It is just frustrating to receive things in the mail that you have to return that are broken.

I loved this decoration however it would not hook up to any foger that we had (3 different ones) We went back to spirit to get their foger and it didn't work with any they had. We asked the manager working the store and they said they rigged theirs up with duct tape. however the foger gets so hot that the duct tape just comes off. I wish someone would tell me what foger to use with it because it would be really cool if it worked!

This prop was very cool and I liked it but I notice when i set it outside with the fog, the head would turn then stop. Apparently the motor isn't strong enough to turn the head and fog tubes so unforunatly
I had to return it.

Would be a good product if it had a stronger motor. I have taken two back and still not working properly. When you attach the hose for the fog machine, the motor that turns the head is to weak and catches and stops. I had to take hose off and just use the fog machine by itself so the head would still be able to move.

We are using this in our Zombie Themed haunted house. The head and hands that come with this unit are amazing! The shirt, however, is very thin and the arms have no form. Do your best to safely give the arms some body and this is an awesome apparatus.

Item is poorly made and head did not move as shown. Also, 400 watt fogger did not connect properly and needs to be taped. Returning item.

This is a good prop, but the motor is very weak and cannot turn the head as advertised. Shame, because the head, hands and costume are pretty scary.

Other fogger props out there for less.

I bought this years'(2011) version of The Fuming Rotter. I missed it at the half off sale last year, and was so looking forward to getting it. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that it doesn't work. The head turned back and forth twice before stopping. It will only work without the head attached--the motor is too weak to move the head. When I mentioned it to the manager of my local store, he said the 2 they had won't work either. Postings on Facebook confirm that many people have had the same experience. This total lack of quality is unacceptable.

The prop assembly consist of using a small Phillips screw driver and patience. I wasn't sure if the prop was suppose to come with the connector to the fog machine but mine did not. I had to use a Arizona can to connect it from the fog machine to the prop tubing. Also i had to stuff it with newspaper wrapped in plastic bags to make him look more realistic. Overall its a great prop.

He is great but somewhat labor-intensive. There are tiny, tiny screws to put his thin plastic frame together, and he definitely required shirt stuffing to make him look more substantial. Also, even though we purchased three different fog machines from Spirit, NONE of them fit Winston's hose; it would have helped a lot to have a couple of adapters for different sizes/types of fog machines. We ended up having to buy a round clamp from the hardware store to make it fit; there's a little fog leakage there, but not a lot. Overall, his effect is worth all the set-up.

Another note: Although he is not recommended for outdoor use (presumably because of his motor), we used him in our graveyard for two days and got caught by an unexpected downpour while we were away one day. We let him dry out for a couple of days, then plugged him back in, and the motor casing was such a good seal that he worked just fine! I still would not recommend leaving him out for extended periods & definitely not purposely in the rain.

This worked well in my front yard set up. I have several props in the yard. I set this on top of a few bails of Hay. It connected to my fogger with a auto timmer. Worked great.

I ussually try and buy pieces that are more expensive since I try and get several years out of my props. Not sure about Several on this one but it was easy to package for next season at least.

Can't beat the price!

This product was perfect! Definitely worth the money spent on it. I wasn't sure if it would be as good as it seemed online, but it was even better. It was easy to set up and there were no problems. The only thing that I'm worried about is that it seems a little delicate. I'm not sure what I'd do if one of the little pieces to the part that rotates the head breaks. Other than that, I can't wait for people to see it on Halloween. I'm definitely ordering more from this site next year!

This is really cool. It is so scary it scared my daughter and she will not be in the same room with it. It works with the cheaper fog machines. We have a high end fog machine and had to purchase a cheap one for this, which was fine because now we have one on the porch and one in the livingroom...great effect!!!

I bought this last wk at my local spirit store with the advise from the great female working there to superglue the proprod in place if you move it, I did & it works great. Rather eerie which is just what I needed in my haunted garage.

This prop really looks cool, and even though it just turns it's head, it looks very good. The fog adds a lot but it's all manual operation on the fog. You have to turn fog on, unlike other props that control fog machine. Still it's cool with or without fog as it looks very good. Quality however is VERY cheap, the frame is all plastic, but as long as you're careful, this should be a good addition to any halloween home!

I saw this in the graveyard at the store. I couldn't walk away. So cool. I got him and he's already set up at home in my graveyard scene under my stairs one month early with large ravens, vultures, Ground Breaker, Spanish moss, tombstones, Cannon Strobe, mini blacklights, bones, arms, legs, blinking eyes, and more. AWESOME how he puffs the fog and tilts his head and turns slowly back and forth just looking to get you!!!

I saw this on-line and had to have it. Put together this thing is creepy looking and will accent my yard haunt very well. I will have to see what he looks like under a black light! That might be the finishing touch with the fog coming out of his osculating head!
I might have to add some ribs to the frame to fill out the shirt, and perhaps add some LED eyes (there's an extra power socket like with Christmas lights) maybe I'll just drill out the pupils and stuff a C9 strobe light up there.
Overall I'm very pleased. I'll have to bring him indoors or onto the porch if it starts to rain too hard.
