I bought this pail to match the Spidergirl costume my daughter chose for Halloween. She was thrilled with the matching pail and it worked well for trick or treating.
One drawback - the notches aren't extremely tight - so we put a piece of tape at the bottom to ensure that it stayed closed. But it didn't deter our choice - we're happy with it.
