My husband talked me into buying this for an upcoming costume party. I am 5'8" and am a 2/4 in clothes, so I got a small. Bad idea, shorts will be a must, if i move at all, my booty will be hanging out. I will probably pin it to some bloomers, so that it will lay properly, but in the torso area, it is roomy. If i had gotten a medium, the chest part wouldve been too big. i wish they would make "long torso" costumes!

Not sure how to make the hat stay on my head, it seems a tiny bit small and I have a small head. I will try to pin it but I did have to press and starch it to make it flip up like the pic

was a good costume, my sister used it last year and im used it after her, she's more busty, it fit her better, its very cute! its totalyy flattering, i love, it's just waaaayy to short, but for me i dont really care it's fine, but i wouldnt reccomend it to conservitive girls at all it's a very racy costume:)

I love the look of this costume, its adorable! However if I move at all, its quite likely there will be butt exposure as when im standing still it hits right below my butt (I'm 5'6 by the way) so shorts are a must!! You might even want to wear white tights too instead of socks. Its fitted and flattering, but may not work for super flat chested people or people with a really long torso (or it will be too short). And the hat is tiny (like child-sized) but finding another sailor hat shouldnt be too much trouble. The quality of the fabric is actually pretty good in comparison to many other Spirit costumes. Overall I think its a very cute outfit though and worth the money as long as youre not too conservative!

I got this as a Halloween costume/themed outfit for my anniversary. It's super cute! I got a medium because I was afraid the skirt would be too short if I got a small. I was right! My chest isn't the largest, so the neckline is a little low for me, but I can make it work, and I can wear black shorts under it to hide my bottom. One thing I didn't like was the picture had a right bow on the bottom of the neckline, and mine didn't. It had a bow on the back right above the skirt. But still a GREAT buy! It is a halter top though, so pick an appropriate bra when you wear it.
