this product is a different color and texture than pictured. it is very very cheap quality for the price...felt bra....rubber pieces that are bent and more dull brown than gold...hair clips wouldn't stay in.

I was really disappointed when this costume arrived. It's nothing like the one in the picture. The top is badly constructed and the material is a weird foam that reminds me of an airconditioner filter. The 'metal' pieces are actually hollow rubber that won't lay flat, and the chain from the neck piece is only about 8 inches long. The skirt isn't terrible, but the built in shorts are not the same as in the picture. For me, this costume is going directly into the trash. Not worth the purchase.

I've always loved the old star wars movies and when I saw this costume I thought it would be great for a Halloween party. The only complaint that I have is that the top is made of some kind of felt and rubber and is held together with velcro. I feel that for the price of the outfit it should be better made and look more realistic.

it was confortable. to pricey. the arm band and head pices were not that grate they are made from rubber so the are floppy. the bra cups are really big and dosent look likt the one in the picture i was really dissapointed about that. but it did fit well the length was perfect for me im 5 foot and got a medium

I bought it for the price, though it will need fixing. Sown poorly, bra rubber is twisted everywhere but where it belongs, but I will use a glue gun to keep rubber in proper places. ITS NOT WHAT U SEE IN THE PICTURE!! The arm cuff is rubber and twisted wrong as well, I might be looking for a real metal one. Will need high heels so the the skirt won't keep getting stepped on.

The design on the package was incredible but when I opened it...well it was falling apart. The glod trim was falling off...there was no gold trim at the top, threads hanging off...coming apart at the seams. The top wasn't even made like the picture . I have never been quite so upset when I opened a package. .BUT Spirit Halloween had no fault in the matter at all...we continue to buy all our costumes here!

The top fit great, probably will pin it for modesty's sake, the included armband and hair combs were a plus, and the collar and chain very authentic. The bottom, while of better color quality than pictured, looked like it was sewn by someone with a hangover in the dark. The appliques were all crooked, and I swear the waist size was about 22 inches. But I think i can fix it. Frankly for [$] I shouldnt have to..but overall I thnink it will be okay.

I ordered this last year for Halloween. Hmm... where to start. First off, the skirt is a dark red, not purple. That's a plus(and the only good thing about this costume) because it comes close to the actual color in the movie. The gold metal design is absolutely horrible. It is poorly sewed on, and bends/stretches in odd ways when the costume is worn. The top is NOTHING like the picture. It's an ugly gray color, and again the gold rubber is of very poor quality. The top Velcro's in the back. The "headpiece" isn't even worth wearing. The little choker is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever worn, and again doesn't look like the picture. The armband doesn't defy gravity like it shows in the picture. What I ended up doing is cutting away the part of the boyshorts that wraps around my hips, leaving only the gold rubber on the sides. For the top, I went to [@]and purchased a tiny brown bathing suit top. I cut out the gold rubber from the costume and sewed that on to the cut-up bathing suit. I feel like a huge complainer after writing this, but it is the truth.

Overall the costume was a great idea. If you are not creative and have no skills with sewing, painting, or redesigning outfits then this costume is not for you. Believe the reviews when you read them because so far they have been true. The top was a little big and I ordered a small. All of the plastic must be reattached to the costume otherwise it will be flapping everywhere. I completely redesigned the top. I used a different fabric, because the original is made of a gray fleece and has Velcro holding the back together. It does fit like a bikini top!

The only thing that I changed about the bottom was that I made it to look exactly like the picture to fit the legs. When you first put it on it fits like a full skirt and it's hard to see the slits. Also I painted the rubber to look more like a metallic gold.

Like I said the costume is a great idea but a little expensive for what you actually get.

this product was terrible!!! it look nothing like the picture. the plastic is sticking out across the front. there is extra material where there shouldn't be and to make changes to it would ruin it even more. the costume is very very poorly put together

This costume is so much fun to wear. I am going to wear it to a halloween party on halloween so its going to look nice...I cant wait to wear it!The only thing is that you have to sew a couple of things in place, and you have to put the bottom on kinda slow and put safty pins on the sraps of the bra or else the straps will come off. It only has a velcro strap holding the bra together. Thats about it, also you have to glue or sew the bra rubber thingys to the cloth or else it will be flying everywhere. But other than that the costume is Beautiful. I think that everyone will love it...
