I was really disappointed with my purchase. The feathers were falling apart when I opened the package. It looked like someone had tried to tape the feathers back on. I am giving this as a gift, but I'm not so sure the person will be satisfied because it is basically falling apart. Very unsatisfied

The feathered plume pictured above arrived detached. The adhesive strips on the helmet crest, on which the plume's backing was supposed to be attached, were uncovered and had no more adhesive. Even if I had applied my own glue, though, the plume itself would not fit in the crest. The entire affair was made of very cheap, thin, flimsy plastic and just trying to fit it in there led to both pieces cracking.

Worst, the feathers were barely glued on the plume's backing, and the effort to put the helmet and the plume together led to them getting flattened and falling off.

In short, the product could not be used without additional work... and following said work the product was unusable. Suffice to say, I'll be looking for a refund.

See Pallas Athena in Vienna, this works great for that costume. Did spray paint metallic gold and it looks great.

great hat! can't wait to use it!! looks expensive! the feathers are a bit weird in that they stick everywhere so you kind of have to fix it yourself
