Sizes are accurate. I wore it to an outdoor dance party and it was really nice. It rides up a little if tights are worn under it.

4.5 score!! i was Leo last year and got a group of 3 girl friends to be TMNT with me. this dress was absolutely wearable and confortable. i would highly recommend this dress. i am 5'3 and the dress was slightly above my knees. i got a good 4 inches taken off from the bottom and it fits perfectly!!! we used large color coded ribbons and tied it around our foreheads to add a little something. highly recommend this!!

i only took off .5 for the length (what girl doesnt like a short dress for halloween) my girl friend didnt alter hers and it was very do-able as well!
