I was so excited to order this costume. Upon receiving it, i was just shocked. It is in to way like the picture. The mask ripped apart immediately, The outfit is not connected. It has two very thin Velcro strings that attach to the granny shorts that come with it. You would have to have webbed thumbs to wear the gloves. I'm very petite, and i ordered a medium, my fingers were almost too small to fit, while the leg warmers were enormous, and poorly designed. The yellow paint on it was chipped off before i even opened the package. It was overall a complete disappointment.

The costume I received was not the one online or on the picture of the package. The shorts were ripped, one finger of the glove was ripped, the other was sewn shut, the boots were not knee length and very short. The boots would stretch to fit about a size 6.

The costume on the picture did not resemble the actual product. The metallic was stretched. The Black strapy connections in the front were very thin pieces of elastic. the actual product is very poor quality. I returned it to a local spirit store.

Hope this helps...I'm 5'7 size 0 very slender w big bust that purchased the XS. But the thing about this costume is the black strip that goes across your stomach doesn't look at all like the picture. It's a cheap non wide strip w a very small velcro that suppose to attach to the shorts. The strip sucks and the velcro doesn't even attaches (it's not long enough to reach to the shorts and I'm 5'7). The picture have a nice fancy thick wide shiny strip and the real costume DOES NOT! So I just wore it as a two piece and just hid the cheap tiny strip since its not long enough. 2. And the boot covers isn't even long enough. The symbols don't reach to your knees like it suppose to be and the boot covers don't stay up so your gonna have to use a bra strip tape to keep it in place.

So far I love this costume and it's almost looks like what the picture shows (The color match to the picture and how it fits, etc...) It fits me perfect and looks sexy! It's hot and I had a lot of attention with this costume people yelling out "Mortal Kombat!!! & FINISH HIM!!!" which is hilarious! I'm gonna buy the Kitana one for next year and I'll be complete almost. Hopefully they decide to make a Jade Costume because I love the green version also!

Costume is poor quality, color scratched off before first wear. Leg/boot covers do not stay up, i had to attach them to shorts. I like the costume overall as a unique idea however there are a few details that could have been better.

I LOVED the concept of this because I have been a HUGE Mortal Kombat fan since a young kid and was ecstatic to do it as a couple's costume with my bf being Scorpian BUT it was NOT TRUE TO SIZE. I am usually a Medium and it fit like an Extra Small. The pink fabric was not dyed pink in some spots, and so it was silver. There were strings and threading hanging along the seams. There was also the seam coming undone near the crotch area! (The exact spot you would NOT want it to start coming undone!) Lastly, the middle piece attaching the top to the bottom DOES NOT look anything like the pic...it appears to be fabric making it one piece in the pic, instead it's a piece of black sting that you use to velcro the top and bottom together! NIGHTMARE.

My GF is really small so the legs and sleaves were to big even knowing I got her the XS. So I guess you just need to make one even smaller :-) To bad it didnt fit.

First off, as always what you see is not what you get. The picture used online and on the package is not really what you get, just a higher quality tailored-to-the-model version. Be warned that the version you get will likely not fit your breasts so well. I was prepared for this and with some fixes, the costume looks great, but you have to be willing and able to put some time in.

I have to say that the sizing was off. I measured in at the low end of small with my bust measurement putting me at medium, so I ordered a medium. I received medium shorts and an extra small top. The stitching on the cross hatches on the top was so flimsy that they instantly popped. I had planned to replace these anyway with non-stretch material to be more secure for my larger breasts, but that fact concerned me a bit. I ended up reinforcing a few seams as well, just for good measure.

Even though the I had measured for a small, the medium shorts are tight(like incredibly obvious underwear lines tight) and while with the nature of the costume, this works, my butt and I most likely could have been happy with another size up.

Overall, I'd have to say that the accessories were on the smallish size as well. I'm a well muscled woman, but I had to extend the arm bands as the Velcro that they are put together with (same story with everything else in this costume)was so tight that when I flexed my biceps, I could Incredible Hulk my way out of them. the finger gloves took some stretching, the ink screening cracks as you try to put the gloves and boots on, and the netted part of the boot tops does does not come as far up on my thigh as it should. Also, the boot tops really surprised me with how good they look with my heels. I have been wrapping the elastic all the way around my foot which help keep my shoes on and tightens up the look.

Finally, note that none of the cons were enough to ruin the pretty authentic looking and very flattering costume. With some fairly basic sewing skills, this costume can be made a lot better, but the costume you get isn't bad. I would just leave time to either alter it or make sure you find the size that works best for you.

I had ordered this costume for Halloween because I am a huge fan of Mortal Kombat. The first thing I noticed when I got it out of the package was that the paint on the costume for the designs was cracking and coming off of the costume, and continued to crack when I put the costume on. My major grievance with this costume is that, not only can you not wear a bra with this product because it is so open in the front, but there is no padding or support whatsoever in the costume itself. No matter what size you are, the thin material that the costume is made of just isn't enough coverage. The mask was also very uncomfortable. Not breathable at all. The boot covers were really tacky looking and were not versitile enough to fit over different kinds of shoes. Overall, the costume did not look like the picture presented. I wouuld not recommend buying this product.

The costume did not quite have the same details as was shown in the image as some of the peices of the costume were not long or thick as shown, or were barely connected to another peice of the costume, and it fit very strangely due to the discrepancies of the picture to the costume. Overall, the costume essentially looked like the picture shown, it just did not fit any where near like it was shown.

I bought this costume in hopes to wear it to a party with a friend, but the bottoms were too tight, the thigh highs would not go up all the way, the gloves fit poorly, and if you stretched the costume too much, you could see the designs falling apart like paint peeling away on a wall. The mask is far too big, and there were scratches on my neck and hips/stomach from the terrible velcro. Also, the costume does not look particularly as well as the picture does. The front of the costume is not nearly as thick as what the picture portrays and straps connecting the top to the shorts are thin and not very adhesive to the velcro, plus, they aren't long enough(and I am a very short person). Overall, I was not impressed.

The top to bottom stomach straps are too short to fully extend properly, they are also very thin and not as pictured. The bottoms are tight and wear way too high up. The top stretchs out really far, any bra no matter how small will show unless costume is glued in place. Boot covers are a very loose fit and fall off top of legs, seams are not finished on glovelets. Golden design is painted and was delivered cracked. Some of this stuff is fixable but when I purchase a costume I don't expect to have to put work into it in order to keep it from falling apart. If your not one to care for much details/accuracy then it's doable, but the poor quality is something any wearer will recognize.

This product is definitely not worth the money. It is very shiny and tacky looking and does not resemble the picture at all. The straps on the picture look relatively thick, they are tiny in real life and mine came backwards so the velcro didnt align with the shorts. It looks sexy in the picture, it looks tacky in real life. You could make the costume yourself and it would probably look better. Definitely going to return this costume. Beware --waste of time and money.

This costume is great for the price; a really complete set for only [$] However, the costume you get is not the same as the one displayed on the website! There is additional designs on the boot covers and a different variation of the gloves and mask. The color of the costume is also slightly different, it is very very pink! The painted on designs are chipping and look cracked when wearing the costume. Not the greatest quality I've ever purchased, but I still look forward to wearing it!

I was so exited to get this custom because it was so sub-culture, looked just like a great sexy asian geisha/ninja with an exotic dancer and rave touch.

When I got the costume, the fist thing I noticed was that there was yellow paint in an ugly design on the leggings that looked like something out of power rangers. This was not shown in the picture.

Secondly, any spots on the whole costume that have "gold" paint (IE the bracelets, anklets, armlets and on the shirt) are not actually metallic gold but a cheap bright yellow paint. This paint was already flaking off when I took it out of the package and parts were even stuck to the tissue paper and ripping off.

I could have possibly overlooked that... Maybe... But then I put the costume on. This custume is not made out of the fabric you would expect. Its not vinyl or spandex or lycra, the fabric used to make any other dancewear you have ever seen that looks like the picture. Nope. This is made from cheap polyester that is coated in glittery metallic finish. It doesn't stretch well and is cracking the moment you put it on. After one good night of dancing, this fabric will look like a bad acrylic paint job.

Also, the sewing was very inconsistent. The fingerless gloves had some fingers that were wide, while others were so skinny that I couldn't even get my fingers in (and I have the smallest fingers that I've ever seen).

I also found that the size small was more like a medium, and that it wasn't tight enough around the bust.

I am 5'6" 115 pounds, in good shape and an avid go-go dancer. I would not recommend this costume unless you want something that you don't mind throwing out after one night of use, in which case that isn't the best thing for the environment.

Go get some real club or exotic dancewear or make your own and you'll be better off.

I took it back immediately and bought a sewing machine and some good metallic lycra that will last forever.

I was missing an arm band, supposed to come with 2
The only arm band that I got was not sewn correctly. It's has velcro to attach together, but normally Velcro has a rough side and a fuzzy side. Mine has 2 rough ends.
The top was the only thing that didn't fit.
But the gloves were pretty tight as well.
And for the boot/shoe covers, it looked baggy and wouldn't stay up to my thigh. It kept rolling or sliding down.

Very disappointing! Costume was nothing like the picture. The arm guards were faded and discolored. The finger cut-puts were irregular and uncomfortable. The leg guards are one-size so they dont necessarily stay up correctly. The black part on the top of the leg guard just droops on the leg. The mask is lousy and looks silly. Is not form-fitted at all. (Definitely would need to alter to fit your face or not wear it at all) The shirt is a lot more open and revealing than the advertisement. Not appropriate for office parties or the presence of children, but good for adult parties and if you are comfortable showing A LOT of cleavage..The black strings that connect to the shorts appear to be atleast 1 1/2 inch wide, however, they are as wide as shoe strings, so doesn't look as nice as pictured! disappointing! :(

im so disapointed! the costume looks nothing like the photo, the fit was horrible, the thighhighs were only a foot and a quarter long and this is supposed to be a womans large? the piping width is a third of the size and the gold is cheaply painted on, not the glittery fabric it leads you to believe. i'll never buy from this company again!
