i bought this product for a gutsy smurf costume for ST. PATRICK's Day. it and the boot covers i got would not have been hard to make myself but making the kilt i thought was going to be tougher. this is a great product, but i am cheap and felt with s/h it was a little pricey but not too bad. if i wasn't able to make my own, then the price is right. my head is about a 7 3/8 hat size and it fits well. i had to get a haircut though as my hair is thick and it made the hat slide upwards.
