When I ordered this product the description mentioned it was a platter 16 inches in diameter, which is just what I was looking for. When I received the item I was disappointed to see it was 11 inches in diameter. It's the size of a regular dinner plate only decorative. They have now changed the 16" size in their description to read 11". If they had corrected their mistake prior, I would not have ordered this. IT IS WAY TOO SMALL and they should NOT be calling this a platter! ! !

Overall it is a very nice item. I was looking for a large platter for a halloween party and the description mentions it is a generous 16 inches in diameter which is what I precisely needed. To my disappointment, when I opened the box, it was 11 inches in diameter. It is a very attractive item. It's too small for a centerpiece or table accent. Not usable for a large party.
