I purchased the size 2T - 4T costume for my 3 year old son and it was too small for him. I had to add material to make it fit. The hat was too small. The shirt too short, the white ruffle tie was too tight. I recommend purchasing the next two sizes up.

My two-year old wore this for his second Halloween and everyone loved it. I was blown away and a bit surprised by all the compliments and "where did you get that costume" There was another pirate in my son's class at preschool but it was honestly like my son was the only one. I thought it was cute but again everyone else seemed to think just the most adorable thing ever. It comes with a cheap eye patch. I purchased the eye patch earring combo separately and really felt it completed the look.

The costume itself fit my 2 year old great - but the hat is a complete joke. It was too small for his average sized head and the skull and cross bones was just a sticker on the front. I had to buy another hat.

We bought this costume for our 2.5 year old son (who picked this out himself) for Halloween this year, the costume is great and so cute, my only complaint is that the hat is made way too small, it doesn't even come close to fitting our son, seems to be made to fit a infant.
So other than having to go and find a new hat to match the costume it's perfect.

I didn't buy this outfit online but did buy it in one of the Spirit stores. Just got it today. We tried on the 1T-2T and it did fit but there wasn't much room for layering underneath so I went with the 2T-4T. It fits great!My son is 35 inches tall and 20 mths if that helps you with your purchase. My son looks so cute in it. The boot covers are not a problem. It covers his shoe just enough to hide them and it has a elastic strap that slips around his shoe. Comes with an eye patch and head scarf. The jacket looks like a leather material yet isn't :)I underestimated this costume. But I am so glad I bought this instead of any of my other first choices. Will definetely buy from Spirits again!

This costume is way cute. My son wore it when he was 16 months old. I got the 1t/2t. He looked adorable. I got a ton of compliments. I would totally recommend this costume.
