Got this costume for Halloween. I liked the level of detail and the overall appearance of quality in the costume. In truth, the costume is flimsy/fragile which isn't a bad thing if you're careful not to rip it. It comes with a lot of stuff included except that I had to get pants, boots, and a sword. The crown was way too small for my head and is made of rubber or plastic composite which was folded and has crease marks and does not retain it's shape. I will have to buy another crown for this which kind of sucks considering the price tag of the costume.

I bought the matching sword from Spirit which is flimsy but coordinates well. I also bought the all purpose boots as shoes would look ridiculous.

The cape is tricky to assemble but once in place looks really cool. Don't forget to attach the medalion afterwards.

My biggest issue is the sizing. I'm 6'1" and about 220 lbs. My body frame doesn't make me appear fat or chubby but not thin either. I ordered the XL version and it was snug. Weirdly though, the belt is loose and I'll have to add more holes. But the greaves (the brown protection on the lower legs) are horribly tight and unwearable. There is no elastic in the material or adjustment in the back, so I will have to open them out and add some velcro straps or something to make them fit. It will compromise the costume when seen from the back, but no choice. I tried them over boots - impossible, and over bare legs (and mine are NOT fat or big) and they looked like I was wearing leggings. I hate Chinese sizing as they severly underestimate North American large sizes --- and like I said, I'm not obese.

Overall, it's the nicest of the pre-fab, mass produced period costumes I've seen.

It is extremely fun to wear. It makes me feel very confident in myself. It looks very realistic, causing people to address me as "Your Highness." My dog speechlessly stared at me for 30 seconds without moving when she first saw it! The only very minor downfalls are that the tunic is a little difficult to remove without tearing, and the jewels are falling off of the crown. Nevertheless, an excellent costume and worthy investment!
