This costume was adorable and there were definitely not two of these at any of the Halloween parades, parties, etc we went to. Be aware that the costume runs extremely small - I ran my duaghter to one of the stores to try it on before buying it and I am so glad I did. She normally wears a child's 6/7 but in this costume she was a large! And it fit her perfectly.

I ordered this costume as a recital costume for my Tap dance students. As other reviewers have said, it runs SMALL! All of the children ordered 1 - 2 sizes larger than usual and there is certainly no way someone the size of the measurements listed in the Large could get into that costume. Also, the hat and belt run even smaller than the costumes. None of the children could get the hats on their heads and the belts just fit around their waists. When trying to buckle one child's belt, the buckle broke, so be careful! Luckily, we can take a buckle off the hat, since we won't be using those.

That being said, it's an attractive costume that's just right for the number, so we will make it work. Just be aware that the sizing is off. I wish the website would reflect the true sizing or that the costume would actually be made to the standards of the size chart.

Costume is cut too small. My child wears a size 6 in regular clothes so I thought buying the size large (size 11-14) would fit. Well, I was wrong! [...] Buyer beware!

This is a really cute costume however if you child is an average 8 year old the large size will not fit her. When the size is 12-14 you think it would fit. I had read another review saying size up. Well I think this costume should be for 6 and under.....
