Really cute and my 19 month old son enjoys wearing it. Down side is its missing a snap button on the back ( easy fix) and I have to stuff the base of the trunk so it wont flop over. Once those are fixed then it will be perfect!

This costume is ADORABLE! I purchased this costume for one of my twin boys (along with the Lil Giraffe which is equally cute!)They are 10 months old and the 6-12 month size is perfect for them. The floppy ears are VERY cute however, he seems to pull at them a lot. I think once he wears it for a longer period of time and has a chance to get used to them though, that it will notbe a problem.

I was so hesitant about ordering this online because I've had bad luck with quality and sizing in the past. This costume is awesome though! My almost 9 month old was comfortable in it (and it's super warm!) The headpiece bothered her for only a few seconds but she soon forgot about it. I would recommend this specific costume, and the ones from this line, over and over again. I bet I won't see many cute elephants on Halloween so the fact that this is pretty original is what sold me.
Oh, and as for sizing, I find comparing is usually the easiest. My 9 month old is 25 1/2 in. and is 16 1/2 lbs and has still quite a bit of room to grow. I hope that helps! :o)
