So many Halloween items have disappointed me in the past, but this one has not! It actually IS life-sized, and will be a welcome addition to my Halloween stock, which has grown and grown in the last 30 years!
My only small gripe is the use of the name 'Sidney,' which obviously is from the movie...it should be less movie-specific and more Halloween-centric--it's meant to scare Everyone...not just those named Sidney! :)

I set this guy up in a doorway so when my stepson came home he would be activated. Scared the heck out of the 19 year old! In fact, he picked him up and moved him out of view. It is very authentic in appearance and sound.

WHEN IT ARRIVED THE TELEPHONE WOULD NOT WORK BUT THE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT SPIRIT FIXED IT RIGHT UP. HE WORKS PERFECT NOW. I HAVE HIM IN MY MAN CAVE ALONG WITH, JASON,MICHAEL,PINHEAD, FREDDY,THE WALKING DEAD GIRL, AND LINDA BLAIR, ALSO 10 ZOMBIE BABIES. WE ARE JUST ONE BIG SPOOKY FAMILY. Now these are the old-school props, the realistic ones. Instead of metal rods and all, he just slides up, and then back down for storage. His left arm is posable, and all you need to do to assemble him is attach his head, and the hand with his knife (which you can switch the knife for almost anything) press down on his shoulders and he springs up! Hes so real looking as well, and he comes with the phone that you can either hook up to him or have it somewhere else with batteries, it rings and when you answer it he says lines from "Scream 4" and then swings the knife, turns his head, and his eyes light up (you can also get him to do this by pressing the purple button by his feet)
He is a high end prop so get him while hes on sale, its worth it.

This prop has all the tributes of the movies...the phone rings...you answer it...and the lines from the movie are chilling. Combine that with the animation, makes this prop a sure winner.

I bought this today. He was awesome but the only this was, the phone didn't work.There wasn't a coil in the battery place.

He's big, bad and scary but I can't get the optional phone to work and, once again, am stymied by spirit's lousy return/exchange policy which says i can't return or exchange after october 20. crazy. this thing costs a lot of money - i expect better customer service. every other store would allow me to exchange. am going to have to buy from another store from now on.

I absolutely love this! He just joined my yard haunt last year and I am super impressed! The animation is great! I love the phrases! It's a great addition to any collecter and to any home haunter!!! A few of the cons would be his light up eyes. The killer didn't have light up eyes in the movies so i think this is an unnecessary touch. Secondly, he is slightly overstuffed in the chest area, but I'm fine with it. Lastly, if you are going to be using this in an area outdoors, like a porch, be aware that if he is in the cold for too long, the slashing motion tends to stiffen up a little. Other than those few, minor, cons, he is a great product and I would definitely buy again!!!

Great product! I'm a Scream fanatic and this is a great fit to my collection/haunt. The animation a great. The cons are the light up eyes. Like since when is the scream killer a ghost? Another con is the over stuffed chest area. I find the costume getting caught on the internals, but in low light you can even tell. My last con would be that in cold weather the slashing motion tends to stiff up tremendously! I live in North Dakota so the nights tend to get quite cold, so watch out for that. Otherwise he is a great prop and a great add on the my collection of animated life-size figures! Him and Michael Myers look great together!!!!

This prop has amazing detail and very classic moments that look so real. The speaker on this prop is very well done. The mask and suit on the prop is very well made and is worth every penny i spent. This prop looked incredible in my Halloween yard and i can't wait to use it again and again every year.
