I have tried on a bunch of witch hats at Halloween stores and for a traditional witch look that still has an element of "different" or "unique", this is a good one for your money. It could be a little roomier, but it fits well enough. The added detail makes it look more unique than the traditional black satin witch hats, without making it look like some kind of silly "party witch".
