Was really cute but it showed literally half of my butt. I got a medium and I am 5'7. If I would have got any size larger it was would been way too loose on my stomach. This costume is made for shorter people.

I purchased this costume to wear to a Halloween Party at my favorite bar. I am barely 5' and have 44' hips. I ordered a large costume as I wear 10-12 in clothing. I did not take into account the wideness of my hips and roundness of my bottom, so the dress ended up stopping halfway down my buttocks. However, I improvised and purchased non-sheer tights instead of wearing thigh highs. The only other complaint I have is that the fabric is very thin, so it will not offer warmth if you are experiencing cold weather this October! The costume is very cute, well made, doesn't look 'cheap' and should be a big hit this Halloween.

It was between this costume and the Fiona (Adventure Time) costume. The major reasons this costume won out was because:
- Adventure Time is a trend, Nintendo is a classic
- I'm going to my mom's Halloween party and want people over 40 to know who I am.
- From the front, the Fiona costume was pretty plain. The Maria costume had a lot of style elements. It had the suspenders, the hat, the gloves the buttons, the necklace. It was more fun to look at.
- It was pretty flattering. It was tighter and smaller than the Fiona dress but somehow hid more of my imperfections and made me feel cute and sorta sexy. It was pretty nice material.

One of the cons was that it was highly short. Not in a sexy way but in a my-whole-butt-is-showing way. I had to buy these stretchy red boyshorts, which I didn't want to pay for, but it actually looked really cute with the costume and definitely improved it in my opinion.

Can't wait to wear it!

I'm 5'6 & about 125 pounds, and a small fit perfectly. If you go any bigger, the straps are too loose.

It is super fitted and pretty short, so shorts underneath are reccomended. Overall very cute and great material. :)

I tried this on at my local spirit store. It only covered half of my butt. I am 5'9". I couldn't even pull it off with leggings. I fit like a shirt. Cute costume if it wasn't so short. The straps are sequined which is a little odd.
