I bought this costume a year ago to wear on Halloween and fell in love with it. I've worn the dress part of it many times since then, I just wear it over jeans. Also, I've been to Japan and I wore this dress while I was there & no one looked twice at me, it's definitely the kind of thing you see people wearing there, lol. :) The only bad thing is, be careful when you wash it because I always just put it in the washing machine, and eventually the lacy part of the pocket came off.
