Intended to buy a costume online but the sizes were too obscure so I decided to visit my local Halloween Spirit store instead. I tried this on and it fit like a dream ( I am an hour glass figure size 22-24, 5'8"). I didn't bother too much with the hat, but I saw other reviews mention it was too small. I have no problem pinning it on! Just so glad the dress fit and fit well!

It's a gorgeous dress, nice material, not cheap. The hat is my only downfall to it, it's veeery small. I guess it's the type to be bobby-pinned to your hair, wish that was bigger, but honestly the only complaint I have about it. Highly recommend it. It's also quite long, and being I'm 5 foot, 2in, it's like, 'oh my'.

My husband bought this for me, and I love it. I'm 5'7" and pregnant. It had plenty of room for my baby bump, at any stage, as it has pleats in the front. It was way too long for me, with only a surged hem, so I'd suggest doing a finishing hem on it. The hat is, like everyone said, TINY. Cute, but whomever designed the hat is ridiculous! Thankfully I already had a hat, so I will be sacrificing the details on the enclosed hat to add to mine.
I wore this, with fishnet stockings and combat boots, to a department Halloween party and everyone loved it! I also added a shawl (shimmery with green/black details), as it's cold up here. The sleeves are net, and slit from shoulder to wrist, and so hang off the arms quite a bit. For makeup I wore silver & black eyeshadow, false lashes with feathers on them, and blood red lipstick. Perfect!

I wore this costume to a Halloween party at a friends house and to a few church "Trunk or Treat"/"Fall Festival" events. It was modest but still pretty. I printed off a coupon when I bought my costume and used my savings to buy a larger hat.

The hat is very pretty, and I hate that I couldn't wear it but it made an excellent center piece for the food table at the party.

#1 - I hated the open arms so I took out my sewing machine and stitched them together. Looks better now!!
#2 - While the sewing machine was out I also took up the hem. I'm 5'7" and it was way too long!!
#3 - I ironed the crushed feathers - medium setting. Then curled some feathers over a lit light bulb.
#4 - Made a couple of holes in the too small hat in areas that are hidden by flowers and feathers, then used long bobbie pins to attach to my hair.

This dress is fabulous for Halloween or other "magical" events... The only negative I have to say is that the hat that comes with it is WAY too small...Pretty, but too small to wear... Fortunately, I already had a hat that I bought to go with the dress after reading other reviews... But it's definitely worth getting!

Loved this costume! The dress itself is pretty unique and very pretty. It's hard too find something that fits as well as this does. I do wish that the sleeves didn't have a slit all the way down the inside of the arm but that wasn't really very bothersome and didn't take away from the costume. The hat is too small but can be pinned to your hair if you cut a couple of holes in the sides. Great product overall!

The dress was very comfortable to wear and looked good on me when few things too. However, the fishnet sleeves are cut down the length of the entire sleeve, which I thought was odd. The hat was also too small for my head. I cut some holes in it and pinned it to my hair and it was just fine. The sewing is also poorly done and ripped after 2 uses, but I don't know that I'll be wearing it more than twice anyway.

I work in a school and needed something that was child-friendly. This was perfect and very comfortable. My only complaint was that the hat didn't fit. I had a ton of compliments from co-workers and had a great time trick-or-treating in it with my children on Hallowe'en night. Very comfortable!

It's about time a plus size has a true fit. The dress is very comfortable and I think pretty. The only thing and I have read this on previous comments is that the hat is to small to wear. I'll use it in my decorations some how next year.

Every year we decorate our front yard and like to add something new each year and Spirit is the first place we look. We have a couple of hundred children that come by with their parents and they all enjoy the experience that they have with us and say they look forward to it every year. Many pictures and videos are taken. We have a Spooktacular time...

I bought this for a family halloween party. It fit just perfect. The sleeves felt a little weird being that they're "open". I'm 5'9" and did have to hem it up in the front a little cause it was dragging some. The back of the dress was fine, didn't have to do any alterations. (But i did wear my flat soled Doc Martins with it) If i had worn some heels w/ it I don't think the length would have been a problem.
All in all an exellent dress for plus size.
Oh yeah, I did have to buy another hat because this one was WAAY too small for me & kept falling off.

I work at a daycare and wanted something i could get away with and wouldnt confuse/scare the kids. and this gown is PERFECT! but the hat is waayy to small, they need to remeasure the "average" size head.

The costume is really nice and comfortable, but the hat that comes with it is way too small. Also, the sleeves are a little long. Just because someone is plus size, does not mean they have unusually long arms.

i bought this today at a local spirit store in my town. I was glad that they let me try it on before I bought it, and I was glad I did! It fit amazing and was so comfortable.Most reasonable priced costumes are made real cheep,maybe proportionately off ,or are a little itchy. This one is not. It feels wonderful like a much more expensive costume. My family is going to a Halloween party as the cast of the wizard of oz.Not wanting to be a classic or ordinary wicked which, this one works well. The hat is beautiful, maybe a little small, but that's good since I have a small head and most hats don't fit me. Looking forward to terrorizing a Kansas girl, and her little dog too!

This is a fantastic dress. I've worn it for two years already, and it still looks like it's in mint condition. It's a beautiful dress, and I've gotten compliments on it. But the hat is soooo small, don't even try. It's a fantastic hat, but I ended up carrying it around for the night.

a few years ago I was looking for some thing to ware to my Halloween Party I knew I wanted to be be a witch! I knew I wanted something in Green because it is my favorite color. I walked into a SPIRT Warehouse and there I saw it! It was the most beautiful Witches Dress I have ever seen it was exactly what I was looking for, I was looking at the sizes and I only saw Med. and Lag. I was sad; here I find the witches dress I have been lookin for for like ever and I didn't see it in my size. Just then a girl who was working there at the time saw my disappointed face and she asked if there was anything she could help me with. I said would you have these Dresses in Plus Sizes? She said the plus sizes are this way and so we went though all of those type on the hook and all were small sizes all but the last one on the hook. I was so happy I think I huged her. How ever; last year I had a house fire and now my beautiful Gothic Maiden Witches Dress is a thing of the past. I sure do miss my dress maybe someday I will be able to buy it again.

I purchased this product in hopes that it would fit as most plus size costumes are actually smaller then they are described (and i am a little larger then most).
But to my delight it fit and it fit fabulously well :)
Only down side to the dress is that it is a little too long but that's easily fixable.
The only negative thing i have to say about the entire piece is the hat that comes with the dress is way TOO small. I have an average size head probably smaller then average and it didn't fit. I tried it on my 6 and 3 yr olds and it didn't fit them either. Instead of buying another hat i just cut a slit into the back and added more material and mesh too blend the seams in. Its fits now!!
