I went by the size chart provided on the website and it is way too big for my daughter based on her measurements compared to size chart. I have maketoo many alterations for an already expensive costume. Based on the size chart, if I had chosen the smaller size, it might have been way too small. There should be anohter option besides 4-6 and 6-8 for those in between. That is too big of a range
