Followed other reviews and covered speaker with tape and the sound wasn't bad. It's cute. It's a witch but it shouldn't be frightening for the little ones. Works as described. Clapped loudly and it began to move. Ran into the wall and it turned around. When it stopped we clapped again.

It should be a fun thing to have around for our Halloween parties.

Bought this last year when it arrived we put it together and tried it out it worked good, we turned it off but left it put together and the next day we turned it on to show a friend and the only way we could get it to do any thing was by tipping it partially on its side then letting it go once it activated.... we took it back to the store and they gave us a new one ,, even tried it out in the store it worked good there but when we got it home it started doing the same thing as the first one ,, regret speding that much cash on the thing.

This broom is so much fun. I love it! It moves really well because it bounces and turns when it runs into something and then keeps going. My only complaint is that it looks like a plain/average broom instead of a "spooky" witch's broom. I still love it, though. I'm sure everyone will be laughing (and running) when they come across it at my party.

This is the perfect addition to my halloween decor. I strive for scary, not gory. This broom fits the bill perfectly.

We used this product as part of our display in the garage. It moves very well and chnages direction when it bumps into a wall. The biggest draw back looks more like a mop than a broom

I love the broom but it is very loud with the sound effects and operational noises. I personally covered the speaker with duct tape and it helped alot

My daugher loves it, my spouse -not so much! He said it is to loud. I do wish it had volume control. The base of the broom is white so- I dont see it as a floating broom so much;maybe if my floor was white.

This is hilarious and fun. I think the adults love it as much as the kids. I even brought mine to work for laughs. Would be nice if it talked, but it's still the best prop I've seen in a long time.

It's cool but, loud! I put a few layers of masking tape over the speaker to soften the sound. Works great on wood floors AND short carpet!

the only problem I can see with the broom, is it is really loud. It would help if there was a switch to turn the noise off. Other than that it was everything I was expecting!

Its great 4 partys & halloween, it'll be on my porch on halloween. The volume(music) is very loud which is good, because so r the wheels they make alot of noise. The sensor doesn't reaaly work u really need a bang or just tap it 2 work. Over all it is a great prop!

This product is well-made, unique, and cute as can be. I purchased this with the "Wild Witch" prop for my haunted house and WOW! I would and have recommended this product to everyone. This price is also GREAT!

For the past 9 years we have a big halloween party and this year the theme is Disney. I was looking through the books and seen this broomstick and at first i thought it was just a broom, untill i read the details, the perfect prop for disney a moving broom, not just a moving broom but a broom that moves by itself, so i ordered 2. Everyone one that i show them to including myself love them, the witches voice is alittle loud but when you get about 100 people in a room i doubt we will even notice it.

this is the best thing yet. of all the halloween things i have purchased I must say, this is the very best. its just amazing how people smile after they see it and want to get one for themself. Now I have another broom to ride if mine needs repair.

I use this in my Kitchen and the Library. It
works really well on the tile in my home.
This is a wonderful and fairly inexpensive prop
you will use again and again. I like the sturdy
design and it's easy to put together. Goes great
with any Halloween decor.

I bought it last year. It was really unique. I got alot of comments. I think the parents liked it more than the kids. Caution - it did scare the smaller children. Will use it again this year.

This little darling, animated broomstick will add life to any Halloween party!
I gave it five stars for the entire prop, however, we wished the musical/laughing part also gave a few Witchy sayings....
"Worms and tadpoles, bubbling stew...!"
To further improve as far as maybe having a microchip to download more sounds would be great as well as rubber wheels....(better traction for carpet). We are working on adding a little something to this broomstick to add this affect as well.
