I have a 6 month old that fits in 6-9 month clothes,that I JUST switched from 6 month clothes last week. So i got, in store, a 6-12 month sized costume thinking it would be ok. It was so tight on her that I am bringing it back and getting a 12-18 month costume. Be careful, this costume runs very small! It is also not soft in the least. The costume is very cute though!

Got this as my daughters first Halloween costume. It is adorable. I did have a hard time getting it on her to try it on, but its onsie like design was helpful. I will say the fit is more of a 6 to 9 months fit; not 6 to 12 months. I can't wait for Halloween so we can take our daughter trick or treating and take pictures with the costume on.
