This is a good animatronics prop. It will be a scary addition to our Halloween display. I am bothered by the flimsy styrofoam gravestone and the exceptionally flimsy hand that attaches to the same. It is clear that these features were made this way for packing concessions. I would revise the packing box and improve the tombstone and the attached hand. The rest of this animatronic prop should last for years, however the gravestone and hand will most likely not make it through this season.

Great looks, reminded us of someone we know, so now he we call him by Marty. The lights are good & the voice is loud & clear, but the tombstone is a bit fragile, it could be heavier because wind is definitely going to be a factor, also should have been in one piece, don't know why they split it in two & then make you re-attach it with enclosed spikes. If bad weather I am using it inside,know it will be a winner.

The Creepy Caretaker is a wonderful addition to my graveyard/cemetery. It was easy to set up and I had it working in no time. My dogs barked at it when it was in operation. It's definitely a good buy! Happy Haunting!

The Creepy Caretaker was easy to assemble and was up and running within 30 minutes. It's scary enough that it made my dogs bark at it! It will work perfectly in my graveyard/cemetary that I set up for every Halloween! Definitely a good buy.

WORKS GREAT, LOOKS GREAT, HAD TO ADJUST LANTERN ARM SO YOU COULD SEE IT OVER THE TOMB STONE... THAT TOOK A FEW TRIES. THE HAND ON THE TOMB STONE IS VERY FAKE LOOKING... BUT I AM SURE IT WILL BE FINE IN THE DARK OF A HAUNTED HOUSE! all in all a very creepy prop! we are happy

i have not used it outside yet but this is so creepy i can see where the tombstone falling over could be an issue but nothing that cant be easily fixed with a sand bag type thing. putting it together was very easy and quick. i do wish it came with the power instead of battery but that is also a easy thing to fix still worth the money i have 2 sets of rechargeable batteries i use in my camera so i will just remove them at night and charge them i will prob wind up buying an adapter also still im so glad i ordered it happy hauntings

For those who are having issues with keeping the prop stable, buy some tent stakes at the hardware store, the ones that have a small hook to tent line - then (I use three) anchor the base with the stakes and then set the prop up. This has worked for me for this guy as well as a few other props that move.

We used this product at the entrance of a haunted graveyard we set up in our front yard. It caught everyone's eye. Little kids were spooked and adults were tickled. We both loved it and will use it years to come.

On the con side, this needs to be set up on very even ground or it tips over. Also, there are a few things fastened with Velcro and we did have to replace the Velcro. Finally, if you plan to use it outside, make plans to secure the tombstone because it's very light.

I would recommend the unit, however, because the small aggravations were by far outweighed by the fun.

I usually buy props (remote control rat, crawling hand and the hex boy) and take them to work and scare alot of people but this one is alittle big for that so I will have to throw a party for him. I like to see him in action even before halloween. He is great!!!

I thought this thing would have been a great addition to my front yard cemetery, and even though I found that this product is easy enough to set up, it is top heavy and tips over easily. Also, with the headstone being made out of styrofoam, if this is left out on a breezy, forget windy, day the headstone break and falls apart. I think if there was some sort of way to stabilize the man and the headstone was made of something else then it would be perfect.

First received this product, it had a few issues. I contacted Spirit and they immediately corrected the problem. Spirit has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. I will buy most of my Halloween products from Spirit. The prop they sent me the second time is awesome and works great..can't wait for Halloween.

Needed some adjustment, hits the tombstone, it hides the lamp a little. We shall see once we put it on display, hope you can see it better.

This animatronic is great! His voice is so menacing and evil. His eyes and lantern light up, and a nice feature about the Caretaker is the blue lighting hidden behind the tombstone to illuminate him. He rises to a great height! His mouth movements and facial detail make him look very realistic. The arm that connects to the tombstone may fall off due to the tape not sticking firmly, but that can be fixed easily. When he lowers down (laughing demonically), the motor is loud. As long as you have music/sounds playing at your haunt, it won't be noticeable.

I love the Creepy Caretaker - he looks and sounds so real! He also works on the footpad!

Going to use this item in my cemetery which is a good place to have him... I like that his mouth moves when he is talking.. Wish their was something extra to make sure he is standing right when the wind blows... other wise his eys could be more spooky...

This awesome animated prop fits in perfectly with our graveyard decor we put outside of our haunted house. The face makes it seem realistic and the mouth moves in synch to the voice, and I like that ALOT! The only problem I have with it is that it falls over easily and is only three feet tall standing up, but still a great prop. congratulations spirithalloween.com you've got yourself a happy customer!
