When I first opened it to take a peek, it made me almost think that I had cut myself on the packaging! It wasn't thick, but blood isn't thick and goopy when it's fresh. (I've cut myself enough to know!) I'm going to use it on my disposable/one-time-use Halloween decorations. The greatest thing I used it on was some white fabric that I slung over my furniture, but remember this: APPLY THE BLOOD ON THE FABRIC OUTSIDE AND LET DRY THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING! This stuff stains! Also, I would recommend you not use this on your skin because of that same reason. Use specific face blood for that.

It's absolutely perfect as fake blood. I used it to splatter a shirt that I am going to wear with matching men's shoes, and it came out perfectly. It even dried to a very rich, lovely color. My only complaint is that it's just a liiittle too thick, so I had to dilute it slightly with water to get the consistency I wanted, but all in all I'm very satisfied.

i mainly got this to see what its like i found it very realistic, it did stain my skin but the stain faded away through out the day.

its good for halloween costumes and works well for horror photography pics

I have used this product before and it gets the job done on makeup or props. It will stain if it gets on the carpet so I would suggest going outside if your doing makeup as not to drip on anything that will stain. Otherwise, this stuff is great.

This product is by far the best fake blood I've ever used and I specifically search for this every Halloween. Other products do not look real or dry with a realistic look such as this product does..would recommend it to anyone

this product was great. last year for halloween i bought this and it was the best fake blood ever. i was a vampire so i had it in my mouth (tasted gross!) and dripping down my face. i was going to put it on the fangs i also bought but i remembered i couldnt with braces and i still cant but i can still use this fake blood.some things i would change is the taste it tasted terrible and i know its not meant to be eaten but still, blah.

I was incredibly surprised by this product. I bought one of the fake arms to go with my home made costume and got the blood to make the arm look creepier. Boy, did it work!!! I keep the arm in my garage and when I go to the fridge at night, it keeps flipping me out. It's a great product. The only thing is, once you put it on and it dries, it has a bit of a silvery tint to it when in the sun. At night on Halloween it will not though. It does stain your skin too, but I've found chlorine water works pretty well, just go swimming for a bit then try to get it off. Get this blood and get the sponges to put it on, use the black more spaced out one, it looks more realistic. Best to put on fake body parts and/or clothing that you don't mind getting messed up.

I worked in a haunted house last October and we used this blood.It looks really realistic!Once you've given it time to drip it works great!(course it might've taken longer because we put it on over air brush make up)It did sometimes take a few days to fully disappear after washing,but it was so realistic looking it was worth it!However one night I tried leaving it on overnight,well after that long it looks a bit too brown,itches a lot and peels off even more,(and made my pillow look like a murder victim)but as long as you're not stupid enough to try that like I was you'll be fine!It's great for maybe up to 6 hours,not for longer than that though.

PS:We did put it near our eyes and mouth,some people drank it and were fine but if it gets in your mouth it makes your mouth go numb so I wouldn't recommend it,and it doesn't do well in eyes either

The product was rly good, I had no problem with it. It wasn't messy if u were to clean it right away. My skin was rly dry when I apply the blood the second day so it burned a lil making it uncomfortable for 5 min, which is no big deal when u want to look gruesome ^_^ except that, it is perfect!

It worked very well for 2007 and 2008 zombie walk, it looked very realistic on our fake wounds. Though it stained the skin and occasionally chipped off in places the product is wonderful.

Absolutely the best fake blood I have ever used. While wet, it is uncannily realistic. It dries rather pink, though, so for best results keep it fresh by reapplying. It can stain clothes and skin a faint pink, depending on how much is used and how long its kept on, but its absoltuly worth it for the awesome grotesque effect.
