I had read reviews about this costume, and took the advice to try on the sizes at the store. Typically I wear a Medium in tops and 8-10 in pants- so I tried on the Medium and Large sizes. The Medium fit just fine, and the bodice fit perfect. Wore it to my Zumba workout/celebration and got compliments on it!

Only downsides are that the wings have only plastic tubing in them, so they droop way too low to see from the front. Also, the elastic part around the waist area was a bit itchy, but tolerable.

I just bought this costume at the store and I have to say it is amazing!It fit really well and I love how poofy it is.I got the size large even though I'm 5'4.I just think the length was better than the medium.Overall, this is an amazing costume!

It was so awesome...I can't wait until I can wear it. I don't really think it sizes small, though, since I'm about 5'4" and 110 lbs, and small fit me fine...you might want to wear shorts underneath if you get this costume though, since the tights are a bit seethrough.

I was going to get the tween I belive one but the leggings we SSOOOOOOOO small. So Igot his one and I luv everything but the corset, im a 14/16 im in 6th garde and a little chunky but u couldnt see my fat at all!! TO GET THE WRINKLES OUT--- when you take a shower hang the costume up in the bathroon and the steam with act as a natural steam straightner!

I have worn Amy Brown's costumes before and they work for me perfectly! Definitely try on one of her dresses beforehand at a store, though, to see your best fit! The dresses are pretty comfortable to me (5'3'', 110 lbs., and A cups), but I would definitely size up one. Overall, the design is nicely done, wear some shorts if needed, and the dress itself is gorgeous!

This is actually a really good buy.
Costumes are usually extremely exspensive, and this comes with many items that you can use or not. It does run small, but needless to say, its a fun design, and is fairly comfy. I like it lots :) I suggest it to be honest, and its colours are better in person.

When i saw this in the store, i couldn't put it down. I tried on a medium first, but the bust was a little tight,(I'm a B cup). when i tried on the large, it fit perfect. It was poufy and had just the right amount of sparkle. The tights were a little difficult to get on, but you can always buy another pair. I suggest wearing a pair of shorts underneath the dress on top of the tights, though.

This product is Extraordinary (Extraordinary-also a awesome book:D)! I am 13 yrs old-75lbs.-4'9! I got a small and it fits great! Its a great costume that is cute, fiesty, fun, free, and well awesome! It is great quality and fits me perfectly!! My sister got it also! I am wearing it for Halloween and a school dance, all eyes will be on me in this costume!

Costume is super cute. When I tried the large on I did not run into any of the fit problems other people seemed to be having (which surprised me because I am 5'5" and about 160 with D cups). That was until I got to the corset. I do not know if it was a store mix up or if the corset is the same for small, medium and large but the corset is tiny. The costume is cute enough to make up for it though and I will take the other reviewer's suggestion of adding a panel. I was also pleased to find that the tulle of the skirt is lined with something underneath making it much more comfortable. It also comes pretty bunched up so I would get it with plenty of time to spare to let it unwrinkle

Wow. I am in LOVE with this costume.
I bought this yesterday, and boy, am I glad I tried it on at the store. IT IS A MUST. Yes, it runs small. But it's a good kind of small. Be careful with the bodice, though. Getting a different ribbon, because they tend to break. And let me tell you something. This outfit is SO poofy!
Oh, and if your thighs are a bit bigger (when I say that, I mean you're NOT stick-thin) go ahead and buy a different pair. On the website is a "queensize" which fits well. They don't fit well. Get the wig and a wig cap, too.

All in all, this is a very nice costume for the price. Great for any October occasion. :3

This costume was very comfortable to wear. I ordered it on a Sunday night, it was here on Tuesday. The colors were bright, and fun to wear. I ordered the small, I wear an XS, so it was not tight.

I loved my costume, it wasn't my first choice, it was actually suggested when I typed in "gothic pixie", but I'm glad I got it, I would only suggest get one size bigger, unless you don't mine it been really short. I enjoyed the compliments with this costume.

While this is a great costume, you must know that it runs VERY small. I am 5'3 and 118 lbs. and the medium was a stretch. I think a normal thin person could wear a large. I have small breasts and they did not even fit in the top part (it was too small also).

The costume is pretty well put together using nice fabrics, and overall is a good quality piece, but it runs a size small and isn't proportioned very well so you definitely need to get a size larger than you normally wear.

I normally wear a 10 (top) and 12 (bottoms) and am 5'6" and 145lbs, so I ordered a large. While the bodice fit OK, the corset piece was small so I ended up having to sew another panel into it to get it to close up front. Also, the armstraps were too short, so it pulled the bodice up a bit (which was a bit short to begin with), causing the skirt to start higher up than it should (above your natural waist), exposing your butt at the slightest bend-over. I ended up layering a black petticoat that came to mid-thigh underneath. The bust is a bit tight, pinching a little under the arms, especially in the back. Overall, it could have used just a little more room in all places for a true adult large.

Also, the wings use a plastic piping to give them shape, not wire, so you can't bend them to shape them and spread them out. They don't flare out like shown in the photos. In the packaging, they're folded up pretty tightly so when you take them out, they're tightly drawn together and pretty droopy. I ended up purchasing a separate pair of wings and stretching these over them and sewing them in place.

Just got my costume in the mail today. I'm hoping they can get me a medium by Halloween, the costume runs very small. Do not go by the sizing form. If you're a small, order a medium. I absolutely love this costume, but it does run small so it is best to try it on at the store. It is very short so plan on rumba shorts to cover the white hind end where the stripes stop to prevent revealing more than intended. The wings came out smooshed so I'm trying to get them to pop back out, and the wig is a mess, but hot water and a comb should fix that. Takes a while to put on....the corset is difficult, but oh so worth it. Have fun!

i love this costume but im a little chubby so a bit of skin hanges out so i have to pull it up more and when you pull it up more if you bend over it shows your butt (enless you steem it) so ware shorts or a petticoat under it but besides that its a great costume ( i bought mine at a spitit store) buying it at the store is probly your best bet

sizing runs small, I normally wear a small, but when i recieved the costume, it was pretty small. so I suggest going up at least one size.

Overall I liked this costume a lot. It has a lot of advantages. One, was that it as easy to match things with. Shoes for the costume were easy to find because they could be black.

It was a little tight but after wearing it for about 2 minutes, it was fine and breathable.

The corset/bodice was breathable and cute just as long as it wasn't tied too tight.

The wings had to be messed with a little to make them perfect but overall, the costume was comfortable, cute and affordable.

I would recommend this to anyone who might even not like fairies because it's easy to even turn into a princess costume and just not use the wings.

The costume looked exactly as it was depicted online as far as colors and cut so there was no problems there. It is a very fun, cute costume! Just be warned that it does run kind of small. I ordered the adult size small and it fits me but it is a little tight. I am 5'1 and 100 pounds and normally halloween costumes are big on me even when I get a small. Also the corset is a little difficult to put on (you have to unlace the whole thing and then relace it to get it on over the costume) and it makes it slightly harder to breath in. Just don't tie it too tight! The waist isn't very long on this so the skirt rises a little higher than I expected. AND in the size small, unless you have a size A cup, you may be spilling out of this! Other than that, it's a great costume and the colors are great!

This outfit was terrible. I'm normally a size 3-5 in jeans and a small in clothing. Im 5'6" and 120 lbs. I bought this dress in a medium and it looks like im trying to put on a little girls dress. The tutu starts at my waist and the top of the dress lines up with my armpits. the straps were way to short and very uncomfortable. I couldnt believe this dress was so terribly designed. Im returning it today.
