I bought this costume for my son and before we bought it, we read the current reviews about the mask not fitting well and thought that it was just bad luck on that purchasers part. Unfortunately, it was not bad luck. When the costume arrived and my son tried on the mask, it was so distorted that he could not even wear it because it was pushing into his left eye. We called and a new one was shipped out to us right away. (no problems there) When the new costume arrived we had the exact same problem. In fact, if you set the masks on top of each other they had an identical shape. It leads me to believe that there is a problem with the mold for the mask. I took both costumes back to a local store but am now out the money spent on shipping. The rest of the costume is fine but the mask is completely unwearable.

Bought 3 of these "deluxe" costumes for myself, my wife and my 9 y.o. son. Masks look ok but are made of think cheap plastic with a thin elastic strap and all three were deformed upon arrival. Probably packaged poorly. Wad able to mostly straighten them with a heat gun. Also had to add foam padding to inside of masks to keep them out of the eyes. Robes are made of fabric that tears about as readily as 1-2 layers of newspaper. One had small rip on arrival. Needed to wash because costumes smelled so strongly of plastic packaging. Handwashing in cold water and Woolite resulted in 4 more tears which I repaired with "gorilla" tape. By the end of trick or treating tonight all robes have many more tears. Just horribly disappointing.

The robe and hood were nice, but the mask was really thin, cheap plastic. It was so bent out of shape from being smashed into the small packaging that it was unwearable. I had to return it. Best to be purchased in a store instead of online so that you can see the quality of the mask before purchase.

The fabric of this item was horrible. My daughter put her finger through the body just trying to adjust the fit on my grandson. When I tried to fix the rip, the sewing machine pulled more holes in the fabric. I had to patch it by hand so that it could be used. For the price, I think a better quality fabric was in order. My grandson, however, loves the costume, so it would be worth improving the quality.

I got this costume for a halloween party and to take my nephew trick-or-treating(I will noy be trick-or-treating myself). I am a Harry Potter fan and expert, and when I seen this costume, I just could not wait to receive it. I loved the design on the sleeves, and the length was perfect(I am 5'6' and it just touches at the ground. But I hated how it was so wide on me, since it fits people "up to SIZE 44-WOW", and I am only size 32 waist. The material was not very nice, and felt like it traveled through time from the renaissance era. And picture wise, the sleeves are not black and whitish silver like this picture shows. They were actually sort of a mix of brown, pink, and purple. Though you can get one like the picture shows on every else as far as I know. If you want a true picture of how the sleeves on this costume from this website looks, look up regular death eater costume in google and you will see it. And as for the mask, it was pitch silver with no spots of blackish lining like the picture shows(a darker silver lining instead). And the mask was totally bent up when I got it, and is not even worth blow drying back into shape, since it is so sharp and uncomfortable on the face. It ia a very sharp very cheap plastic. I ended up having to purchase a latex death eater 1 mask, which is very nice indeed. Unless you like the pinkish brown sleeves, do not get this costume, though if you like to have a little more of a victorian or renaissance era look, this look is very nice. I would definitely refund my costume and get what the picture shows from somewhere else, but spirit halloween refused to refund the shipping I paid [$] for even though the picture was a fraud of the actual thing, and I have to pay the return shipping, and risk not gtting my refund back into my account for a month. So unless you like the color sleeves that I explained to you and you can see on google, do not get this costume here. I would have liked this one, if the costume was true to the picture shown.
