Step 1:
Begin by blotting a thin layer of latex on the area you wish to have torn. Go very thin. Never rub while applying latex. Instead, blot it on. Let layer dry.
Step 2:
Repeat Step 1 five more times, making sure each layer dries before applying the next. Powder between layers. If you want your skin flap to be thicker, then apply more layers.
Step 3:
When you have your desired thickness, powder your entire area. |
 |
Step 4:
Make a small tear within the covered area. You MUST keep within your covered area. Do not grab the outer rim and lift, it must be within it. Begin to peal a SMALL area of your latex up to create the tear. HINT: Keep the outer ring untouched.
Step 5:
Continue to lift the latex off of the skin, ripping in the areas you want the skin ripped. You can choose to leave the skin hanging, or rip it off. |
 |
Step 6:
Use blood from the Horror Makeup Kit and black makeup to cover the entire inside the area of your wound. Then paint your skin flap. This is a great gag to do when you have people around. When you start ripping the fake flesh, people will moan!
Removal:
Gently use any oily makeup remover and slowly peel back and use a q-tip to put the makeup remover under the cut. Wash with soap and warm water.
