How do I find out about my order?

To view the details and status of your order, enter your order number and billing zip code in Order Status page.  The order number is listed in the confirmation email you received after you submitted your order.

Why is the purchase of Toy Guns restricted?

Certain products offered for sale by Spirit Halloween are restricted from delivery to certain states and municipalities. 

These locations have laws preventing the sale of these goods in these areas.

Spirit Halloween has identified those restrictions under state law and will not ship prohibited items to the identified locations.  For more information please review local and or state laws.

What job opportunities are there?

If you click on Job Opportunities at the top of this page you will see the positions available at Spirit Halloween.  You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible to work at Spirit Halloween.  Once you've entered some key information into our Spirit Halloween employment application, our system will determine which positions you are eligible for and will match you to those positions which are open and are in a reasonable distance to your home.  Once you have selected a position and location and completed the entire process your application will be submitted for consideration.

I know there is a Spirit Store at a specific location but it is not coming up as an option, how do I apply to that store?

Each position has a designated distance that is determined by zip code. If you know you are beyond 20 miles from the store for the Sales Associate position or 30 miles for the Management positions you may use a mailing address of where you may be staying that is closer to the store.   Another option is to go to the store and request to speak to the Store Manager/District Manager regarding your interest in employment.  Depending on the store's staffing needs they may have an ability to collect your application electronically by modifying the radius in the posting.

I know the store still has the sign out for Help Wanted but my application status states Position Closed.  Why? 

Your information has been reviewed, and we regret to inform you that you are no longer being considered for this opportunity.
 
I do not want to enter my social security number?  

This is the only way to apply for a position.  Our paper applications in the past also requested the social security number.  In the case of our electronic applications the social security number is never revealed in its entirety, only the last 4 digits can be seen when viewing the application.  As this is the unique identifying number that we submit to the IRS, it is necessary for the system to request it at the time of application.
 
I could not complete my application due to technical issues.  What do I do?

What is the status of my application?

  - You can find the status of your application by logging back into Work4Spirit.com using the PIN you established when you completed your application.  Click on "My Job Opportunities".  Next to the location you applied to you will see the status of your application.

How do I find out if I am being considered for the job?


A member of our Store Operations team will contact you to set up an interview.  They will only be contacting those applicants who most closely meet the requirements of the available position. If you successfully pass the interview and criminal background check (based on state law) you may be called to come in for Orientation.  We will continuously be hiring throughout our Halloween season, so if you are not contacted immediately there still may be a future opportunity for you.  

If after applying, the position is shown as closed, you are not being considered for that position.  You may apply for a different position.

How do I apply for a job if I live in Canada?

You cannot apply online at this time.  Please visit the store in which you are interested in working and ask to speak to the Manager about employment opportunities and request to fill out an application.  Our stores are targeted to open between August 30th and September 18th, 2010.
